Serrucho is a variable display typeface with teeth. Named after the handsaw, it morphs from controlled brutality to unleashed frenzy across eight weights—each one sharpening the edges until letters feel like they’re vibrating off the page.
At its flattest (Serrucho-100), the type is bold, blocky, and authoritative. Angular but steady. As the variable axis cranks toward its extreme (Serrucho-800), those clean edges erupt into spikes, creating a frenetic, almost electrified aesthetic that feels mechanical and feral at once. The result is a typeface that can whisper with weight or scream with serrated intensity.
Serrucho channels the raw energy of post-punk flyers, hardcore show posters, and protest graphics cut by hand. It’s built for words that refuse to be ignored—whether that’s bold branding that commands attention, event graphics that crackle with energy, or packaging that won’t sit quietly on the shelf.
